Special Visitor Pass

Conditions of Issue of Special Visitor Pass for
“Hong Kong International Airport ‧ Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race”

  1. The Special Visitor Pass (“Pass”) is issued to a person who are eligible as a participant of Hong Kong International Airport ‧ Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race (“The Race”) which is held within the Airport Restricted Area.
  2. A Pass is issued in a form of number bib and accreditation card to runners and non-runners (i.e. Airport working staff/ Race officials/ Marshalls/ Volunteers/ VIPs/ Officiating Guests/ Contractors) respectively.
  3. A Pass is issued to a person who will access and remain in the event area where The Race to be held and within Airport Restricted Area under escort.
  4. A Pass holder who enters into and remains in the Airport Restricted Area must be escorted by a holder of an Airport Permit with escort authority – ‘E’ endorsement (‘Escorter’). The escort requirement is to safeguard against security and safety risks that could otherwise arise.
  5. A Pass holder must produce his / her Pass to the authorized person officials and security staff at the designated access point for verification / checking purposes when he / she enters into the Airport Restricted Area.
  6. A Pass holder must display his / her Pass forward facing and on his / her outer clothing above the waist at all times while entering into, remaining in and exiting the Airport Restricted Area.
  7. A Pass holder must take proper care and custody of his / her Pass and must not carry his / her Pass unduly and negligently.
  8. A Pass holder must comply with the requirements of the Airport Authority Bylaw and all requirements set out in the notices, airport (”HKIA”) circulars and the HKIA Airport Security Programme issued by the Airport Management Director or his authorized representatives.
  9. A Pass holder must comply with all reasonable directions given by Police, Immigration, Customs & Excise and health officers when entering into, remaining in or exiting the Airport Restricted Area.
  10. A Pass holder must comply with all reasonable directions given by officers of the Aviation Security Company Limited who are performing access control or screening duties at an entry point or within the Airport Restricted Area.
  11. A Pass holder shall not deface, alter, tamper with or willfully damage his / her Pass.
  12. A Pass holder shall immediately report the loss of his / her Pass to the officials of the event organizer, i.e. The Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliate.
  13. A Pass holder not following the above conditions 1 to 12 will be disqualified to continue participating the event, and shall leave the designated area within the Airport Restricted Area immediately and will be subject to further investigation if warranted.
